Pola Zen

Director of Content for ContentSquare Digital Experience Insights.

Pola Zen is the Director of Content for ContentSquare Digital Experience Insights. An award-winning storyteller, she explores how the combination of ideas, technology and distribution have the power to connect people and create meaningful experiences. Pola grew up in Mexico and the US before immigrating to Israel. Her film, “Dolls and Houses” has screened at festivals around the world including Berlin, Seoul, New York, Barcelona and Hamburg. The film was shown on Israeli television, cinematheques, and as part of in-flight entertainment programs garnering grants and prizes.

Pola became one of Israel’s leading script supervisors, working on hit productions – some of which sold to FOX – and worked with top talents such as Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Language Film Uri Barabash. She served as the main judge for the screenwriting competition at the annual Ozark Film Festival for five years.

A storyteller at heart, she began integrating modern technologies into her work, which led her to shift from the Film and TV industry to the Technology industry, where she combines her sensitivity towards human behavior with the innovations of digital communication. She developed the first B2B interactive content platform built on the principles of gamification. This project merged storytelling, interactivity and visual content and became a blueprint for gamification platforms within the Israeli high-tech community.

Pola constantly seeks opportunities to connect with new cultures and break free from modern desensitization. She volunteered in Mesila, the Center for Assistance to the Foreign Community in Israel, for which she received an Excellence Award from the State of Israel. She makes traveling a priority and spent most of 2016 backpacking through South and Central America, listening to people and their stories and fueling her endless curiosity on what connects us as human beings.
