Julián Ríos

After his mother's painful two-time battle with breast cancer, Julián Ríos Cantú resolved to save women's lives through early breast cancer detection. Currently, he is the CEO and Co-founder of Higia Technologies, a biosensors and big data company dedicated to boosting women's quality of life through EVA, a non-invasive and portable method that maps vascular abnormalities for breast cancer detection. Higia Technologies is also working on Achilles, a foot device for diabetic foot prevention and Coeus, a men's underwear for testicular and prostate cancer detection.

Julián has been awarded with Mexico's Presidential Medal for Scientific and Technological breakthroughs and with the Vanguard Award from Minerva University for his research in wearable tech to detect breast cancer. Also, he has been a guest lecturer at the National Medical Society of the United States and Harvard-MIT Innovation Laboratories. In may 2017 Julián became the first Mexican and overall youngest winner of the Global Entrepreneur Awards.
